Hello! I'm Monique and I've created ADHD habits because I understand that you want your neurodivergent child to thrive, and I'm familiar with the challenges of living in a world that isn't always supportive of neurodivergent children. I want to guide you through empowering your child to love their brain and embrace who they are.
I began changing our habits when I felt like my family was falling apart. With 3 young children and another on the way, medical professionals told me that my child was too young to be diagnosed or medicated for ADHD despite showing countless symptoms. Feeling helpless, I turned to alternative solutions, starting with changing our food choices. That was over six years ago, and since then, our family has been making small, continuous shifts in our lifestyle. Within our family we now have a range of diagnosis; ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and anxiety, yet our approach to managing their symptoms remains unchanged. While medication is now an option we are exploring, lifestyle is still foundational to how we manage day to day.
I know it can be hard for families to find supportive environments for their neurodivergent children. The lack of understanding and effective resources can make it difficult for children with ADHD or ASD to thrive in a neurotypical world. I believe the best way for neurodivergent children to shine is through an awareness of their habits. I aim to focus on actions that celebrate their strengths while accepting their challenges.
I want to help your child develop the habits that will give them the confidence to be everything they are. Please explore our resources, participate in our community, and start making small changes today with our free habits guide.
